1. About these terms

These terms govern your access to and use of the Grid Force Hire website and platform, operated by Grid Force Hire Pty Ltd (ABN 52 701 103 577) (“Grid Force Hire”, “we”, “us”). By registering as an electrician, submitting a crew request as a Host, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these terms. Grid Force Hire supplies electricians on a labour-hire basis and operates as a licensed labour-hire provider in Victoria (Victorian labour hire licence VICLHL11668).

2. Registration & accuracy

You must provide accurate, current and complete information - particularly licences, tickets and clearances. Submitting false or misleading credentials may result in removal from the pool and, where relevant, referral to the appropriate authority.

3. Verification & approval

Electrician profiles are created with a status of pending review and do not go live until Grid Force Hire has verified the submitted details. Grid Force Hire may approve, request further information, or decline any registration at its discretion.

4. Engagements

Work is offered on a casual basis. Accepting a job offer creates an assignment on the terms notified for that assignment. There is no lock-in: either party may decline future work, subject to obligations for assignments already accepted.

5. On-site work & the host's role

On a host's site you work under the host's day-to-day direction and control. You must comply with all safety requirements, inductions and lawful directions, and work only within your electrical licence class. The host is responsible for the electrical work performed, holds the Registered Electrical Contractor (REC) registration for that work, and issues the Certificate of Electrical Safety. Grid Force Hire may stand down or remove anyone who breaches safety or conduct requirements.

6. Rates & pricing

Host pricing and electrician pay are set out in the quotes and assignment terms provided to each party. Rate and margin information is confidential to Grid Force Hire and the relevant party.

7. Invoicing & payment

Hosts are invoiced for hours worked, at the rates and payment terms set out in their quote or invoice. Invoices are payable in full by the due date shown. We may pause new placements, and recover reasonable costs of collection, where invoices remain unpaid after the due date.

8. Cancellations & non-attendance

If a host cancels or cuts short a confirmed assignment on short notice, we may charge any minimum engagement set out in the quote for that assignment. If an electrician cannot attend a confirmed shift, they must notify Grid Force Hire as early as possible so a replacement can be arranged; repeated non-attendance without notice may result in removal from the pool.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, provides false credentials, or creates a safety or conduct risk. Obligations already accrued — including payment for hours worked — survive suspension or closure.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Grid Force Hire is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other non-excludable laws.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
