Compliance & Labour Hire

Compliance isn't a footnote for GridForce — it's the product. Here's how we approach our obligations.

Labour-hire licensing (Victoria)

GridForce operates as a labour-hire provider under the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2018 (Vic) and is registered with the Victorian Labour Hire Authority (Licence No. [to be displayed on licensing]). Supplying workers to a host in Victoria requires a labour-hire licence, and host businesses that use an unlicensed provider also commit an offence — so we take verification seriously on both sides.

Electrical licensing

Every electrician we supply holds a current Victorian A-Grade Electrician's Licence issued by Energy Safe Victoria. Electrical installation work is carried out in accordance with Victorian electrical safety requirements. We record and verify each licence number and expiry as part of intake, and flag renewals before they lapse.

Worker verification

Before any electrician is deployed, we verify:

  • Victorian electrical licence (number, level and expiry)
  • Site tickets and cards — Construction Induction / White Card, working-at-heights, EWP, LV/HV rescue and first aid, as required
  • Security clearance (e.g. NV1) and expiry, where a site requires it
  • Right to work and identity documents

Insurance & workers' compensation

GridForce maintains public liability insurance and workers' compensation cover as required by law. Electricians engaged casually are covered under GridForce's arrangements while on assignment.

Fair Work & tax

Casual engagements are structured to comply with the Fair Work Act and the National Employment Standards, including casual loading in lieu of leave entitlements. GridForce manages superannuation guarantee contributions and PAYG withholding for the electricians it engages.

Security & privacy

Personal and licence information is handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. Uploaded documents are stored securely and access is restricted by role — see our Privacy Policy.
